For Sycamore Class' Super Scientist Workshop, we invited parents in to help the pupils become 'super scientists' and carry out a series of fun experiments!
Throughout the spring term, Sycamore Class (Year 3) have been learning about key changemakers in the scientific world. To consolidate our learning, we invited parents to join us for a series of exciting experiments that explored biology, chemistry, physics and world science.
By carrying out these dynamic experiments the pupils had practical and visual representations of the concepts they’ve been learning about in class. This showed everybody how fun science can be and helped them understand the huge role it plays in our ever-changing world. The knowledge and skills they developed over the sequence of experiments inspired them to want to continue their scientific journey and become the change of the future.
Mr Banfield said, "It was amazing to see the children using a range of skills to investigate the different elements of science. I loved seeing the children apply their knowledge skills and understanding into new scientific situations. Totally inspirational! So proud of these super scientists!" – Mr. Banfield
