We provide support, information and advice to carers living in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas. A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to a family member or friend who could not manage without this help due to frailty, illness, disability, mental ill-health or a substance misuse problem. Three out of five people in the UK will become carers at some time in their lives. What we do? We are dedicated to supporting the work of unpaid carers. Through a range of services including a confidential carers’ support line, a team of carer support offices, and a variety of workshops, training events aiming to provide information on services available to carers, support carers to access the help they need, involve carers in the planning and development of services and to offer practical support, counselling, carers’ breaks and holidays, emergency card and quarterly newsletters.
