Please note: The admissions criteria  are those of our Local Authority for community schools. There is an appeals process and all Oasis Academies follow the nationally agreed guidance for admissions appeal.

Primary Admissions for Reception children

If you are a Parent or Carer and wish to apply for a place in Reception at Oasis Academy New Oak for the following September you will need to complete the Common Application Form via the Bristol City Council Website. 

For information about the application process, oversubscription criteria, tie break procedures, waiting list, appeals and more, please see our Admissions Arrangements for the academic year you would like to apply for.

The process of allocating places will begin after the deadline for applications on 15th January 2022.

 

In-Year Admissions for Years 1-6

Pupils usually start school at the start of the school year in September. Sometimes your child will need to start or change school after this because:

• You move house, either within or into Bristol.
• You want your child to change schools for other reasons.

We are happy to meet with prospective parents wishing to join our academy mid year to discuss the process and capacity at the academy. If you would like more information or are interesting in your child starting at our school, please contact our academy office.
