Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Oasis Academy New Oak. We are a friendly, inclusive and busy primary academy with two specialist resource bases - one for children with autism and one for deaf learners. We are a nurturing, caring school that puts children at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated and skilled team not only supports and guides our pupils as they learn and develop their individual traits and talents, but helps them do so with a smile on their face.
Our motto is 'Be the Best Me' and we know that everyone's normal is different. The school's four values of Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Curiosity are central to everything we do. Our aim is to empower every pupil at New Oak to grow into a confident and curious learner that is able to take responsibility, independently manage their behaviour and welcome challenges on their learning journey. The standards at New Oak are high because we believe that everyone is capable of remarkable success and we aim to create an environment where all children thrive, broaden their horizons, take full advantage of the opportunities given to them and ultimately achieve their full potential. Our academy ethos is built on the Oasis ‘9 Habits’: being joyful, honest, considerate, patient, hopeful, humble, forgiving, compassionate and self-controlled.
This website has been designed to share everything we do here at Oasis Academy New Oak, so please have a look around! You will see examples of the curriculum we teach, the opportunities that the children have while they are with us and all of the exciting initiatives that the school is part of.
We understand that as parents and carers, nothing is more important to you than your children’s happiness. We will work in partnership with you to ensure that your children feel happy, safe and confident in school.
Please feel free to contact the Academy with any queries you may have. We look forward to working with you.
